Alexander “Sandy” Brown is president and chief executive officer of One World Sports a national sports network delivering exclusive world-class competitions live from around the globe.

Brown is an accomplished executive with a proven track record of leading sports media businesses for some of the best-run companies in the media and entertainment industries.  He is widely recognized for his leadership in successfully managing multiplatform sports-programming networks for multicultural domestic and international audiences.

Before joining ONE World Sports in 2012, Brown was president of sports for Univision Communications Inc., the leading Spanish-language media company in the country. He led Univision’s sports strategy and operations, overseeing sports programming across all platforms. Brown created and launched Univision Deportes into 15 million U.S. multichannel homes and spearheaded the network’s landmark 10-year soccer-rights renewal for the CONCACAF Gold Cup and CONCACAF Champions League.

As managing director of ESPN Asia and managing director of ESPN STAR Sports, Brown launched ESPN’s business in Asia and oversaw the groundbreaking ESPN Star Sports joint venture. He has also served as president and chief operating officer of Virtual Spectator; president and chief executive officer of CNBC Asia; and co-chief operating officer of Worldspace. Brown got his start in television overseeing all international rights at the National Basketball Association.
